Course Structure

The complete course has four sequential levels:

1. Level-1: Trainees require toattend a 4-5 hours long discussion on Saatvik Aahar. The discussion will be divided into two classes of equal duration. The whole discussion is based on Shloka No. 8 of Chapter 17 of Shree Bhagwat Geeta : आयुःसत्त्वबलारोग्यसुखप्रीतिविवर्धनाः। रस्याः स्निग्धाः स्थिरा हृद्या आहाराः सात्त्विकप्रियाः।। आयु, सत्त्व (शुद्धि), बल, आरोग्य, सुख और प्रीति को बढ़ाने वाले रस युक्त्त, स्निग्ध ( घी आदि की चिकनाई से युक्त) स्थिर रहने वाले तथा हृद्य को प्रसन्न करने वाले आहार अर्थात् भोज्य पदार्थ, सात्त्विक मनुष्य को प्रिय होते हैं ।।

2. Level-2: This is one month long session wherein trainees are given guidance about Saatvik Aahar. In this level, DeshYoga volunteers also eat the same diet as being advised to the trainees. Day to day queries by the participants are answered with full details. This session is very interactive wherein trainees get awareness of everything they eat.

In level-2 only, most of lifestyle diseases like Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure (High/ Low), High Cholesterol, Anger, Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Sleep Disturbances etc. go away. Trainees feel more energetic, efficient, calm and positivity in thoughts.

3. Level-3: This is around one month session wherein trainees are given exposure to fundamental problems of human life. Discussion will include how to solve these problems by practice of Yama-Niyama.

4. Level-4: This is around 3 months session wherein trainees are given exposure to various Higher Yogic Techniques like Body Detoxification Techniques (BDTs), Surya-Namaskara, Asanas, Pranayamas, Meditations, Karma-Yoga and Bhakti Yoga
